Polypropylene Lead Core is used as a weighted, lead core rope in many fishing applications but primarily as "footrope" for weighing down monofilament and multifilament nets. It is a 3 strand soft/medium lay. Now leadcore is a special rope that has a polyester jacket braided around a core of lead. This rope is used primarily as a replacement of external leads on gill and trammel nets.
